Through a joint operation with the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, the Emery County Sheriff’s Office conducted a mass seizure of drugs in Green River, Utah.
“In a joint operation with the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were able to seize approximately 39 pounds of crack cocaine and 10 pounds of marijuana,” reads a statement from Emery County Sheriff Tyson Huntington.” One arrest was made in conjunction with the drug seizure.”
This is the second major bust announced by the ECSO this week, with the first occurring near the Huntington North Reservoir. This previous operation saw deputies seize drug paraphernalia, marijuana, methamphetamine and fentanyl pills.
Continued Huntington, “I would like to thank Sheriff (Jamison) Wiggins and his deputies for the great relationship between our offices.”
The Grand County Sheriff’s Office echoed this sentiment in a statement of its own, saying,” We would like to extend our gratitude to the Utah Attorney General’s ICAC Team, the Utah Attorney General’s SECURE Strike Force, the DEA and the BLM for their support and collaboration in our pursuit of Justice.”
