Tuesday, the Lady Spartan soccer team was in Manti to face the Templars in a region tilt. Emery was still looking for their first region win of the season, but the Templars came out on fire, scoring 12 goals in the first half, to take the 12-0 win.

Emery now sits at 5-7 overall and 0-3 in Region 13 play. In the latest rankings, the Lady Spartans sit at No. 14. Manti, on the other side, is carrying a 12-1 mark and is 3-1 in conference play, holding the No. 3 spot.

Manti came out flying in the contest and found the back of the net 12 times in the first half. They eased up in the second half, not scoring but keeping the Lady Spartans off the scoreboard as Manti claimed the 12-0 win.

Emery has six games remaining for the remainder of the season, and all are region games, with the exception of the game on October 10 against Cottonwood.

Emery is back on the pitch on Thursday when they will welcome the Union Cougars to Castle Dale.
