
Glorya Marie (Wisniewski) Eaquinta, age 95, passed away peacefully at Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation on September 19, 2025.
She was born April 9, 1930, in Cumberland, Wyoming to Basil and Isabella Citerio Wisniewski.
She grew up in Superior, Wyoming and moved to Price, Utah when she was in high school. She graduated from Carbon High in 1948.
Glorya married Dominic Equinta June 10, 1951, and they had two boys, Pete and “Nicky.” Glorya enjoyed working for Mountain Bell as an operator back when it was “number, please.” She then worked as a receptionist in the US Forest Service office in Price, Utah. Glorya enjoyed baking for others and was known for her delicious fudge, cream puffs, and brownies. She also enjoyed cooking her mother’s Polish dishes and still has many of her recipes.
She is survived by her son, Pete (Lynette) Eaquinta; daughter-in-law, Denise Equinta; grandsons, Colin and Cade Eaquinta; nephew, Bobby Pike; great-nephew, Cody Pike; and cousin, John Hafner.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic; son, Nick; parents, Basil and Isabella Wisniewski; sister, Charlotte Pike; brother-in-law, Bob Pike; and great-nephew, Danny Pike.

Her heartfelt thanks go to Bonnie Kirkwood, Christine Johnson, and Pastor Andrew Lasslo with Symbii, Kathryn Kilbourne with Active Re-Entry, Wendy Fauver with SERDA, and dear friends Mary Gallegos, who is more like a daughter, Vera Nickas, Emily Prescott, Haylee Prescott, Matt Allred, Jana Falk and Rachelle Blanc. Glorya would also like to thank Castleview Hospital and Dr. Marcos Valdez, Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation, and Mitchell Funeral Home for their compassion and care.
