The Lady Dinos collected their seventh Region 13 victory and 12th win in a row on Tuesday in Roosevelt when they defeated the Union Cougars 4-0. Four different Lady Dinos scored, and Madi Barlow earned her eighth shutout of the season.

The Dinos pushed their overall mark to 15-2 and haven’t lost a game since August 15. They also hold the No. 2 spot in the latest rankings with just one game left in the regular season.

Carbon broke down the Cougars’ defense in the first half, finding the back of the net and taking the advantage into halftime. After the break, the Lady Dinos shut down Union once again and took the big 4-0 win.

Sara Nelson, Elsie Morley, Chrissy Jones, and Bailey Johnson each scored a goal in the victory. Maggie Truman and Johnson each collected assists for Carbon. Barlow had three saves in the shutout win.

The final contest of the regular season will bring the North Sanpete Hawks to Price on October 7. The game will be on Senior Night for the Lady Dinos, and Carbon will say goodbye to five seniors: Bailey Johnson, Kenzie Morgan, Taree Pressett, Maggie Truman, and Emme Bowman.
