Lady Dino volleyball traveled to Roosevelt to face the No. 5 ranked Union Cougars on Tuesday. Union grabbed a win in the opening set, but Carbon came back in the next one to take the set. However, Union claimed wins in the following two sets to secure a 3-1 victory.

Carbon slips to 5-14 overall and holds the No. 12 spot in the latest rankings. Four contests remain on the Dinos’ schedule, as well as a trip to Richfield for the  Sevier Valley Tournament.

On Tuesday, Union came out and claimed a win in set number one, 25-19. The Lady Dinos claimed a win in set two, 25-20, to even the match at 1-1. Union jumped out in set three, taking a 25-10 win, and then closed the Lady Dinos out in set four, 25-15, to take the 3-1 win.

Carbon will get back on the court Thursday to face the Delta Rabbits at the gym at Carbon High.
