Tyler Rizzi, beloved Partner, Uncle, Brother, and Friend passed away October 10th, 2025. Tyler was born March 15th, 1949 in Dragerton, UT to Val and Dorothy Rizzi. He graduated from East Carbon High School and joined the Army at age 18, serving as a Combat Engineer in Pho Loy and Ben Wa Vietnam and Fort Leonardwood, Missouri (Nov 1967 – Nov 1970). Tyler then finished out his government service; later retiring from the Tooele Army Depot.

Tyler had a deep love for classic cars, car shows, the great outdoors, and wildlife.  This led him on many adventures that entailed camping, hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and staring at the ground looking for the perfect little rocks that he loved so much.

Tyler married Zelda McRoy on April 24th, 1970 in Manitou Springs, Colorado; however, they later divorced.

Tyler later met his best friend and the love of his life, Paulene in 1991.

Tyler is survived by Paulene Roylance, of Provo, Utah. He was loved by many around him, such as his step-daughter, Jennifer Brown, Provo; grandson, Jayden Brown, Provo; nephews, Dominic (Kim) Rizzi, West Valley, Curtis (Bobbie) Rizzi, Fredericksburg, Virginia, as well as many more nieces and nephews.

Tyler was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lucky and Val Rizzi; nephew, Lucky Rizzi Jr.; and a step-son, Richard Roylance.

Funeral service, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial with military honors will follow in the East Carbon City Cemetery.
