George Ralph Kouris was born on September 26, 1955 to Gus and Cleo Kouris in Price, Utah. George passed away on November 4, 2025 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
George lived in Scofield when he was a small boy and later moved to Price. He married the love of his life, Pauline Madrigal, on August 7, 1996; and even though they never remember the day of their anniversary, they always celebrated it.
George worked in the oilfields for many years and traveled extensively. He moved to Roosevelt and later Vernal for some time, but when it was time to retire, he moved back home to be closer to his mom and dad.
George enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, riding his ATVs, hiking, taking his dogs for walks, spending time with his family, and helping others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He constantly needed to stay busy doing something, whether gardening or tinkering around the house. George enjoyed teaching his grandchildren how to work on cars and how to become successful in life.
George is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Kouris; his children, Emily (Sam) Madrigal, Christine Nunez, Gloria (Rico) Nunez, Patricia Nunez, and Christopher (Image) Nunez; his brother, Anthony (Jade) Kouris; sister, Lydia Morgan; brother, Jessie Kouris; seventeen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren with one on the way, along with numerous nieces, nephews, beloved family members, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Cleo; sister, Judy; and brother, David.
