Emery wrestling welcomed the Manti Templars to the Spartan Center on Tuesday evening. The Spartans collected eight wins out of 14 matches and cruised to a 42-27 victory in the fifth meet of the season.

Emery has been working since before Thanksgiving, and they still have four meets on their schedule before the Christmas break.

Corbin Brady logged a win by forfeit in the 106-pound class. Ty Christiansen claimed victory at 120 pounds over Jaymison Nielson by pin.  At 126 pounds, Ryder Christiansen came out on top over Dax Keller by a 5-2 decision, and at 138 pounds, it was Corbin Jensen over Kayden Dyches by an 11-7 decision.

Ryan Collard pinned his 150-pound opponent, Kellen Peterson. Damon Farley won his 175-pound match with Caleb Maxwell by a 15-13 decision, and Hazen Meccariello and Dimitri Bunn would win their matches by forfeit at 190 and 285, respectively.

Emery will be off until Friday, when they will travel to Price for the Dave Smith Memorial at Carbon High. This will be a two-day event, wrapping up on Saturday.
