Our beloved husband, son, brother, friend and longtime friend, Charles William Stonehocker, 55, passed away December 16, 2025 in Price.

He was born November 19, 1970 in Montrose, Colorado to Bobbie LeRoy Stonehocker and Karen Jane Collins. On November 11, 2023, Charlie married Judi Dennis in Price, Utah.

Charlie was proud of his military service, serving in the U.S. Army 82nd Air Borne during the Persian Gulf War.

He enjoyed the outdoors from Mountain Man Rendezvous to fishing, and camping. He also liked playing his bongo drums.  He had an artistic side from drawing to building with his hands.  He wasn’t afraid of hard work.  Charlie started working with epoxy for table tops and countertops which he loved and brought out his artistic side.  He also enjoyed his stone masonry. He loved his family and friends and was always there to help. He is going to be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Mitchell Funeral Home, Price City Police Dept., Carbon County Ambulance, Sheriff’s Dept., Tammy and Glenn Wells at the Cowboy Club.

Charlie is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Judi D. Stonehocker, Price; brother, Gerald (Darlene) Stonehocker, Delta, CO; sister, Deanna (Bob) Bennett, Heber City; daughter, Arial C. Stonehocker, Seattle, WA; son, Darren McKinney of Minnesota; and a community of friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, infant nephew and sister-in-law, brother-in-law, Debbie (Skip) Noone; infant nephew.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be Monday, December 22, 2025, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
