Wednesday evening, the Dino boys wrestling team welcomed the Grantsville Cowboys to Price. The Dinos are still making their way through to Christmas break with a busy schedule, and Grantsville was their second meet in as many evenings. Carbon turned in a powerful performance, going 12-2 across the matches to take a 72-11 win.

Carbon was coming off a loss to South Summit on Tuesday night and was looking to rebound against the Cowboys. The Dinos still have a busy week ahead before they can relax and enjoy the Christmas break.

Carbon started out with wins from Jaden Barlow at 106 pounds, Jantz Greenhalgh collected another win at 113, JJ Munoz collected a win at 120 pounds, and Kayden Smith gathered a win at 126 pounds.

The Dinos earned wins from Hayden Hunt (138), Riker O’Hearon (144), Trace Crespin (150), La Shawn Duran (157), Jack Burdick (165), and Bryson Ferguson (175). JJ Ruden (215) and Jared Simmons (285) both collected wins.

The Dinos will be back on the mat Thursday night when they go on the road in Mount Pleasant to take on the North Sanpete Hawks. Then they wrap up the week in Farmington for the Christmas Clash on Friday and Saturday, take time off for Christmas break, and resume their schedule on December 30.
