At approximately 7:26 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, the Helper City Police and Fire Departments responded to a structure fire in the Helper area. The fire resulted in the death of a male individual.

“The fire involved a camp trailer and was fully engulfed,” reads a release from the Helper City Police Department. “Once the fire was extinguished, it was discovered an adult male was located inside of the camp trailer deceased.”

The identity of the man has not been released to the public, but the victim’s family has been notified of his passing. 

Closing the statement, Helper PD states,” Our sincerest condolences go out to them in this extremely difficult time.”

The fire remains under active investigation.
