The Lady Dino wrestling squad made the trip to Richfield for the divisional round of the postseason. Carbon sent 16 wrestlers to the divisional round, and all Lady Dinos qualified for state competition.

Kaja Jones at 110 pounds, finished in third place overall, going 2-1, winning her third-place match over Alexis Jarman of Richfield. Bailee Christensen finished in second place in the 140-pound division, going 2-1 and falling in the first-place match to Chloe Critchlow of Grantsville by pin.

A pair of Lady Dinos took first place in their respective weight classes. At 155 pounds, Rickelle Collins went 2-0, earning a win in her championship match over Zeze Lafaele of Richfield by a 14-8 decision. Madison Arroyo, at 190 pounds, went 2-1, taking a first-place win in the championship match over Kira Hart of Grantsville by pin.

The Lady Dinos will be back on the mats on February 4th and 5th, and back in Richfield to take part in the 3A State Championships at the Sevier Valley Center.
