A new addition to the beauty space in the Castle Country arrived on Saturday, Jan. 24, as community members gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Desert Sage Salon. Beauty services, giveaways and a ribbon-cutting courtesy of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce highlighted the event.

“I’ve had a salon in Price actually, for six years, formerly locks and lashes,” explained owner Sadie Waller to Castle Country Radio. “had the opportunity to purchase this building on Main Street, and so we’ve kind of just poured our heart and soul into it since September when we closed on it, and now we’re here for the grand opening day.”

Offering a wide range of services from permanent jewelry to spray tans and eyebrow waxing, the Desert Sage Salon adds a touch of beauty to Price’s Downtown District.

Speaking on what makes Desert Sage stand out as compared to other salons, Waller stated,” I feel like all of our stylists here get along super well. I feel like it’s a really upbeat, friendly, drama-free zone.”

Also, as part of the opening, the salon gave away $ 1,700 in prize baskets, including free services from the shop’s experienced stylists.
