After an extended hiatus, the Driggs Mortgage Team is proud to announce the return of its ‘Where is the Truck’ promotion for 2026.

“A few years ago, my wife came up with the idea of, as we travel around, take a picture of the truck and have people guess where the truck is, and we would give them a T-shirt,” explained Gregg Driggs of the promotion. “We decided to bring it back this year, and the theme in 2026 is my favorite places. So the general idea is to get to know me better, get to know the Driggs better, but also support local businesses because we give away a $25 gift certificate to one of the local restaurants for the people who guess correctly.”

Running for one month already, Driggs shared the story of the first contest of the year,” Last month we had about 20 people guess … So, if you want some hints, my son lives in Colorado Springs, so there’s a good chance the truck is somewhere between here and there. But I also have a son who has a shop down in Southern California, so sometimes it could be between here and Southern California. So if you know me or you know Becky and where we like to travel, then that is a hint.”

Driggs explained that the effort to include gift certificates for winners is a move intended to help spur winners to shop local and support the economy.

“We love Groggs, and we love Farlaino’s and we love Club Mecca and all the local restaurants. They’ve all been really happy to want to participate. They’ve tried to donate. We don’t want them to donate. We want to support them. So we like to buy the gift certificates so that we can give them away to other people who can go in there.”

Switching gears, Driggs discussed receiving the “Team Leader of the Year’ award, which he described as,” I have the best team in the country that works for me.”

“I didn’t really do anything to win that award, other than I’ve hired all the right people. And we’ve got Tiffany and Taylor and Nathan and Becky that are all there working, and they’re fantastic,” said Driggs. “We know that typically, when you go to buy a home, it can be very stressful. At least, finding the home is fun.  We try to get the loan part done before you go look. We try to get you approved on day one, so you can go out and be just like a cash buyer.”

Closing our conversation, Driggs shared where individuals can find more information on ‘Where’s the Truck’: “They can go onto our socials, either Instagram or Facebook, and the post goes up the very first week of the month, and we don’t give hints until people start asking questions online.”
