The Emery Lady Spartan golfers were back on the links Tuesday as they traveled to Nephi to take on the Canyon Hills Golf Course, home of the Juab Wasps. The Union Cougars have been dominant all season long, and they showed it again, earning first; the Lady Spartans finished in third.

Union shot a 354 to earn another top finish; North Sanpete finished in second with a 432. Emery finished the day with a 438 for third, Carbon (456), and Manti (467) rounded out the scoring. Avery Rasmussen of Union had the low round of the match, shooting an 82.

Brandee Larceval had the low round of the day for the Spartans. After shooting an 89 on her home course last week, she would swing her way to a 94. Larceval also shot a 90 at the match at the Carbon Country Club Golf Course to start the season.  Lailey Downard (111), Clarissa Beagley (114), and Avery Laws (119) made up the scoring four for Emery.

Lydia Larsen (120), Kodee Behling (121), Rheagan Rhoten (124), and Kaicee Behling (126) also represented the Lady Spartans at Canyon Hills.

Next week marks Spring Break for the Spartans, so they won’t be back on the course until April 7, when they travel to Palisades Golf Course, the home of the Manti Templars.
