The Carbon Dinos volleyball squad welcomed the Juab Wasps to the gym in Price on Thursday night. Coming off a win earlier in the week, the Dinos were looking to use that momentum to carry them towards another victory, but the Wasps had other plans and handed the Dinos a 3-1 loss.
The Dinos claimed their first region win on Tuesday over the Union Cougars in straight sets, 3-0, to move to 2-8 overall and 1-1 in region play. The loss dropped Carbon to 2-9 and 1-2.
The Wasps came out in set one to grab a 25-18 win in the first set. The Dinos came firing back in the second set to claim a 26-24 win. The third set was a letdown for the Dinos as the Wasps came back to collect the 25-12 win. Juab would close out the Dinos in set four, 25-22, claiming the 3-1 match win.
