As you begin to read as a writer you will notice the mechanics of the author you are reading accomplishes what he wants to do, how you feel, the use of certain words, etc. The next step is to practice writing and having that read by someone else that can give you honest feedback. Reading and writing A LOT is the best way to become and prefect your writing.
