CARBON COUNTY SHERIFF PRESS RELEASE

On March 14, 2016, at 2:05 PM, an accident was reported at 605 West 1100 North in Price involving an ATV and a parked delivery truck.

Upon arrival at the scene, Carbon County Deputies found the operator of the ATV, an 89 year old male, with lacerations to his head and not responsive or breathing. 

Deputies initiated CPR and established an airway resuscitating the victim.  The male subject was then transported to Castleview Hospital by Ambulance.

Witness information at the scene suggests that the driver of the ATV rear ended the stationary delivery truck.

It is unknown if weather was a contributing factor.

The accident remains under investigation.

The names of those involved are being withheld at this time pending further investigation.
