Governor Herbert has declared a “State of Emergency” for the entire State of Utah through the month of August 2017 due to the potential of wild-land fires. There are several fires going on throughout the state that have high potential to escalate.

We know too well in Carbon County what post fire flash flooding looks like. Please be cognizant while enjoying the outdoors.

Carbon County has a strict no burn ordnance in effect, for individual city ordinances please contact respective city offices.
