The general meeting for the Business Expansion and Retention better known as BEAR, will gather on Thursday, August 31 at 8:00 am on the campus of USU-Eastern in the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center’s Alumni Room. The meeting will feature Jeff Hoel with Construction Assistance and Solutions (CAS). The subject of discussion is How providing independent, dignified and safe living conditions for seniors can attract growth and create jobs.
Hoel knows the meaning of hard work which he learned on the small family farm in Washington. He has been in the construction business since 1979 as a builder, then transitioned to becoming the Vice President of Hoel Construction Company Inc., which was the family business that gave him the experience and knowledge to start his own company, Construction Assistance and Project Services, Inc. In 2007, after spending most of his time volunteering by rebuilding homes in the Gulf area and visiting rural communities all over the country, he and his family settled in Price to start a new life.
In 2017, CAS completed its four-year contract with Southeastern Utah Association of Local Governments to provide support for the Self-Help Rehab program that assisted 16 families with home ownership. Hoel, has steered CAS to focus its priority in assisting those with immediate accessibility and mobility needs.
Guests will be served light refreshments while listening to the keynote speaker. Any questions about the general meeting call 613-5255.
