Unable to find balance offensively, the Carbon Lady Dinos suffered a 2-0 setback to the Maesar Prep Lions Tuesday afternoon in Price.

Falling in a 2-0 hole entering the break, Carbon managed to play even with Maesar Prep throughout the second half, but could not find the back of the net. The loss moves Carbon to 1-2 in region play, and marks the second consecutive shutout defeat.

Alexia Muhlestein and Madelin Norris each scored one goal as the Lions improved to 2-0 in Region 14 play. The win moves Maesar into a first place tie with the Delta Rabbits at the top of the division standings.

After starting the region slate with a 3-2 win over the Union Cougars, Carbon has been unable to find any rhythm offensively. The Lady Dinos will have a chance to climb back to .500 barrier when they meet American Leadership Academy Thursday on the road.
