The USU Eastern women’s volleyball team will travel to Snow College in Ephraim to participate in the Scenic West Athletic Conference Championship Tournament Friday morning.

After finishing the conference slate with a 3-5 record the Lady Eagles will enter the tournament the No. 4 seed. USU Eastern’s first opponent will be the conference’s No. 5 seed Colorado Northwestern. The two teams met twice this season, with USU-Eastern winning both in convincing fashion.

A win Friday morning would place the Lady Eagles into the second round of the single elimination tournament Friday afternoon at 4:00 P.M.. Waiting for the winner of the opening round game is the College of Southern Nevada.

Despite entering the tournament as the No. 4 seed, USU Eastern spent the majority of the season ranked inside the NJCAA’s top 20. Entering the tournament Snow, CSI and Salt Lake are all ranked inside the top 10.

11:00 AM: USU Eastern VS Colorado Northwestern
1:00 PM: Southern Nevada VS Snow College
4:00 PM: USU Eastern/Colorado NW VS Southern Idaho
7:00 PM: Snow College/Southern Nevada VS Salt Lake

Saturday:
1:00 PM Championship Game
