The Friends Board of the Carbon/Emery Children’s Justice Center would like to invite the entire community to the Castle Country Christmas Tree Regalia after a lengthy hiatus. The festive event will kick-off the holiday season on November 29 through December 1 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
“It’s been twenty years since we did the last regalia was in 1997, so this is a good year to be doing it,” said Board Member, Connie Hamilton. “Children’s Justice Centers in Carbon and Emery County operate mainly on fundraisers and of course grants.” There is approximately 250 children a year that are served and benefit from the services of the CJC.
The proceeds earned at the event will stay local to assist with the center’s operational costs. “The admission charge is $3.00 a person and now if you are a performer, of course you will get in for free but $3.00 a person or it’s $10.00 per family,” stated Hamilton. The live entertainment will be performances by local groups and individuals.
There will be items for purchase fully stocked in Santa’s Gift Shop. There will be artwork, holiday décor for the home, furniture and other crafts.
There will be a photo booth available, holiday concessions to enjoy and of course the magnificent display of 55 originally decorated Christmas trees. The themes are elaborate designs by businesses or individuals and guests will have an opportunity to purchase their desired tree.
There will be many opportunity drawings, demonstrations and holiday activities for the entire family to enjoy.
