Lila Alice Maines Draney Busetto, 94, passed away surrounded by family November 14, 2017 at Beehive Home in Price, Utah.
She was born July 7, 1923 in Pittsburg, California to Oscar D. Maines and LaVange L. Moes. Married Vergil J. Draney, September 1942; He died April 3, 1970. On September 1971, she married Tony Busetto; He died March 9, 1996.
Lila was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a longtime resident of Carbon County and a former owner of Price Floral. She was a spunky lady full of wit and character that was quick to laugh and joke with those around her. She was a talented artist who enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting and was always working on a puzzle.
Lila is survived by her daughters, Linda (Karl) Kraync, Tawna (John) Magnuson, both of Helper, daughter-in-law, Paula (Dennis) Haymore, of California; her grandchildren, Gary, Barry, and Heather Mills; Kimberly, Lori, and Brian Draney; Andrea, Brandee, Karl Jr. Kraync; MaryEllen, Melanie Magnuson; 38 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren. She was a “second mom” to Gloria Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Vergil and Tony; son, Vergil Draney, Jr., daughter, LaVange Mills; and son-in-law, Gary Mills.
The family would like to thank the staff at Beehive Home, Jeff Ohlwiler at ProRehab and Dr. Daniel Monahan for their excellent care and concern for Lila.
Funeral Service, Monday, November 20, 2017, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell’s Sunday evening from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to service. Internment, Price City Cemetery.
