The small town of Helper, Utah comes alive during the Christmas season. A Christmas Festival that expands three weekends in the month of December. This year marks the 28th Annual Utah’s Christmas Town Festival that is sure to get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

The Lights on Ceremony will be held on Friday, November 25 at 6:00 pm at the Rio Theatre located at 210 South Main Street in Helper. Following the ceremony, parents can take their children to the Helper Civic Auditorium to visit with Santa.

The annual Luminary Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 29 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Helper beginning at 6:30 pm. Luminaries may be purchased in advance or on the eve of the service for $7.00 each. Whether you loved ones is buried in the city’s cemetery or not, attendees can still recognize them at the ceremony because all luminaries purchased will be spread throughout the cemetery.

The two-day Electric Light Parade will be held on Friday, December 1 and Saturday, December 2 at 7:00 pm, registration and line-up begins at 5:30 pm at Locust and Main Street. On Saturday night, immediately following the parade, the grand finale will be a firework show choreographed to music for everyone to enjoy.

A a Chili Dinner will be held prior to the light parade inside the Helper Civic Auditorium at 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on both days. The proceeds from the dinner help to fund the yearly festivities.

Children will be able to attend breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 2 beginning at 8:00 am till 11:00 am at the Helper Civic Auditorium.
