Fierce Fighting Championship will return to the Carbon County Event Center Saturday night with another card filled with local fighters and exciting matchups.

“We keep growing, growing and growing,” said owner and promoter Cody Bunderson. “Four of my local fighters are on the card, and I expect the crowd to be loud as they cheer on our boys.”

Billed as “The P-Town Beatdown”, the loaded card will feature ten fights. The scheduled main event will pit local fighter Cy Nelson against Nate Kearsley at 155 pounds in the lone professional fight of the evening.

“That’s a very fun fight right there. As a promoter I think it’ll be great fight for the guys and the fans,” said Bunderson. “Coming off a two-fight losing streak, Cy is hungry and he’s going to give the fans what they want to see.”

The event will also feature the debut of Carbon High School seniors Holden and Mason Sorenson. Holden will face Simon Prado at 135 pounds, while Mason will square off with Jeffrey Prado at 125 pounds.

“They’ve been training for over three years with us now and patiently waiting to turn 18,” Bunderson said of the Sorenson twins. “Both are super talented, work hard and have a great mindset. I look for big things from these two Saturday, and moving forward.”

Another amateur bout will place local fighter Mark “Blanca” Chavez in the cage against John McComas. The fight will take place at 155-pounds, and is featured as a co-main event for the evening’s card.
