Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, Filadelfio Kenneth Lobato, age 76, passed away
March 21, 2018 at his home.

He was born July 18, 1941 in Fruita, Colorado to Filadelfio and Josie Trujillo Lobato. On February 27, 1960, he married Alexaundria “Sandra” Velasquez at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in East Carbon.

Ken was a longtime resident of East Carbon and a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America, Kaiser Steel Local # 9958. He shared a great love for the outdoors, especially gardening, fishing and hunting the
La Sal Mountains. He took great pride in his yard and if there was anything out of place in his garden, he would let you know. Ken loved caring for his family and tinkering around his home.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lobato, children, Annette (Robert) Vigil, Kenny (April) Lobato, all of East Carbon, Nicole (Zac) Robinson, Price; special niece, Edith Velasquez, Salt Lake, sisters, Delores Muniz, Payson, Cliseria Bruce, Patsy Wilkinson, both of Provo; brother, Elmer Lobato, Salt Lake; brother-in-law, Tom Archuleta, Salt Lake; sister-in-law, Carol Lobato, Sunnyside; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Leland Lobato and sister, Juanita Archuleta.

Funeral Mass, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, 10:30 a.m., Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Vigil service, Monday evening 7:00 p.m. at the church in East Carbon. Family will receive friends at the church Monday and Tuesday one hour prior to service. Committal service, East Carbon City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Ken online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
