Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and longtime friend, Katarina M. Tallerico, age 92, passed away March 15, 2016 in Price.

Kaye was the ninth of ten children born to Salvator and Teresina Cortes Mangone on October 15, 1923 in McCloud, California.  Married the love of her life, Sam Tallerico, Jr., January 27, 1946 in McCloud, California; he preceded her in death on April 13, 2006.

Kaye was an active and staunch supporter of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church where she was the Catholic Woman of the Year in 1995.  She was also the head of the funeral dinner committee, sold raffle tickets, worked Bingo and staffed the food line with her family for all church activities.  Kaye never missed any church functions and she was there day and night to help with anything.

She was active in many social and civic organizations such as, Price Ladies of Elk’s, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, BPW Organization and many fundraisers throughout the community.   Her hobbies included crocheting, baking, playing Bingo, going to Wendover and of course keeping her family inline.

Kaye is survived by two daughters and one son, Terry Snyder and Toni Fugate, both of Price, Sam Tallerico, III, Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Mary Pellegrino, McCloud, CA; six wonderful granddaughters, five amazing great-grandchildren, loving nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
