The Carbon County Commission and Carbon County Chamber of Commerce invite the public to a presentation by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development on Wednesday, May 23 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm inside the Commission Chambers at the Carbon County Administration Building.

The subject will be about State Programs Available to Expand Your Business given by special guest Nan Anderson, Rural Economic Development Outreach Specialist. She will introduce the Rural Fast Track Grant, Targeted Business Tax Credit, REAP, Enterprise Zone Tax Credits and Utah Rural Jobs Programs. After the presentation, there will be time for a Q&A on the presentation.

Anderson will then share her presentation at the general BEAR meeting on Thursday, May 24 at 8:00 am on the USU-Eastern campus inside the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center’s Alumni Room. The public is welcomed to attend and enjoy light refreshments as she talks about State Programs Available to Expand Your Business but particularly how those programs can assist the rural areas of the state. This is a good opportunity for individuals who missed her presentation on Wednesday afternoon to learn about the state program and how they can better serve rural communities.

For more information on both events contact the Carbon County Commission or Chamber of Commerce.
