Melvin Archie Huntington, age 80, returned to his Heavenly Father March 21, 2016, after a courageous battle with Non- Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
He was born August 24, 1935 in Orangeville, Utah to Hyrum Arvil and Melva Elizabeth Henrie Huntington.

He was a graduate of Carbon High School.  It was there he met his future wife and soul mate, Roxie Oviatt.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple and they became the parents of three children.

Funeral service, Monday, March 28, 2016, 11:00 a.m., Blue Hills LDS Chapel (35 West 200 North) Ferron.  Family will receive friends at the church Monday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m.  Interment, Ferron City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Melvin online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
