Dustin Lofley and Mike Lofley claimed first place in the All-Night Lunatic Double-Horseshoes Tournament at Washington Park Friday night, moving into the Saturday morning.

A total of 15 teams participated in this year’s event, which started at 10:00 pm and ran until 1:30 a.m.. The team of Lofley and Lofley worked all the way through the tournament’s bracket unbeaten to secure the championship.

Tommy Martinez and Dakota Andrews finished second after moving through the one-loss bracket to the championship match up. Kenny Blake and Matt Williams finished third.

The next horseshoe tournament will run in conjunction with SEUEPA’s Energy Days at the Carbon County Fairgrounds on Wednesday, July 4. For more information on the summer horseshoe tournament lineup, contact Rochelle at 820-6636.
