The 2018-19 high school sports season is underway for the Pinnacle Panthers with the start of the 1A baseball season earlier this week. Cross Country and Volleyball will follow shortly.

The first official game for the Panthers baseball program took place on Tuesday, July 31 with a win over St. Josephs. The team will continue pre-season play throughout the next two weekends, before the first home game on Friday, Aug. 17 against Tabiona.

Volleyball will participate in their first contest of the season on Tuesday, Aug. 14 on the road against Escalante. The two teams will meet again for the first Pinnacle home game 11 days later on Aug. 25.

The cross country team will begin the season on Aug. 17 at Sugarhouse. Sept. 17 and 19 the team will compete close to home at both Carbon and Emery. This year’s region meet will take place in Monticello on Oct. 10.
