Green River will be hosting their sixth annual Melon Cruise Car Show on Saturday, September 8 at the Green River City Park located on Main Street. Registration will begin at 9:30 am till 10:30 am, followed by the Melon Cruise on Main Street.

The car show is set to commence at 11:00 am with the award ceremony and opportunity drawing scheduled at 3:00 pm.

The show is open to all years, makes and model of cars, trucks, motorcycles and special interest vehicles. This includes vintage, classics, originals, hot rods, street rods, competition and customs. The entry fee for the car show is $15.00 plus you will receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag.

This event is held prior to the city’s annual Melon Days celebration on September 14 and 15. It’s the main event that features the parade, vendors in the park, carnival, live entertainment golf and softball tournament, plus all the melons you can eat.
