Clarence Andrew Christensen, age 69, peacefully left this earth on October 21, 2018 surrounded by his family. Clarence was born in Standardville, Utah on April 27, 1949 to Thomas (Bud) and Lena Belle Kofford Christensen.
Clarence attended Carbon High and graduated in 1967. He entered the United States Army and proudly served our country for 12 years. While serving in Germany, he met and married Luise Market. They later divorced. A few years later he met and married the love of his life, Jane Trujillo; she preceded him in death on April 21, 2002.
Clarence was hardworking in whatever field he worked in. Throughout his life he worked as a coal miner, a truck driver, for the U.S. Forest Service and a police officer for several agencies in Carbon and Emery Counties.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His family was the most important thing in his life. Clarence enjoyed the outdoors and being in nature. He became a jack of all trades and could repair almost anything he came across.
Clarence is survived by his sons, Justin Busk and Steven Christensen; daughters, Claudia Christensen and Misti Walker; his mother, Lena Christensen , Price; Karen (Kirk) Sitterud, Orangeville, Leslie Christensen, Colorado, Jerry Christensen, Price, Gary Christensen, Salt Lake City; 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his sweetheart, Jane; sister, Christine; father, Thomas (Bud) Christensen; brothers, Lloyd, Buddy and Dennis.
Funeral service, Thursday, October 25, 2018, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service.
