The United Way of Eastern Utah started accepting Angel Tree applications on October 3 and will do so until November 15 at 4:00 pm. This program is open for low-income families for children in both Carbon and Emery Counties. Due to the time restraints in preparing the database with all of the participants’ information it is very important that the deadline is strictly enforced and no exceptions will be made.

Parents/Guardians who wish to pick up an 2018-Angel-Tree-Application may do so at one of the five locations:

United Way of Eastern Utah at 67 East Main Street in Price

Department of Workforce Service at 675 East 100 North in Price

Eastern Utah Community Credit Union at 675 East 100 North in Price or 105 West Geneva in East Carbon

RUCD Headstart at 745 East 200 South in Price or 150 West Main Street in Wellington

The crucial items to be attached to the 2018-Angel-Tree-Application include copies of any and all household income received by any household member 18 and older (related and non-related). This means that paystubs must be current and include year-to-date earnings for that individual. A copy of your myCase (jobs.utah.gov/mycase) reporting the last 24 months and legible copies of picture ID for head of household. It’s the applicant’s responsibility to complete the 2018-Angel-Tree-Application in its entirety and attach the requested credentials listed on the front. If any items are missing the 2018-Angel-Tree-Application will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.

Upon completion of the Angel Tree application, all families will be required to take a Financial Budgeting course. Parents will return their completed 2018-Angel-Tree-Application in person to the United Way of Eastern Utah’s office during their office hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday and Green River parents will return the application to the Pyramid Youth Programs facility located at 125 South Long Street in Green River.
