Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Lois Ellen Gilson Pilling, age 80, passed away peacefully at her home on February 24, 2019.

She was born April 29, 1938 to Robert and Florence Gilson in Eureka, Utah. Lois married David Kent Pilling on March 30, 1956 in Dragerton, Utah; they later divorced.

Lois was a longtime resident of the area who was dearly loved by all. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family. Lois loved handiwork, crafts and sewing for her children. She will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.

Survived by her brother, Laurence (Katherine) Gilson; sister, Fay Preston; children, David (Kari) Pilling, Kenilworth, Kittie (Gene) Feichko, Price, Norma Cunningham, Nevada, Bridget (Carry) Nielsen, Huntington, Adam (Kelli) Pilling, Miller Creek; 15 grandchildren, 36 great- grandchildren and one more on the way.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Kent Lewis Pilling; grandson, Robert Andrew Cunningham; and brother-in-law, Bill Preston.

Funeral service, Friday, March 1, 2019, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment, East Carbon City Cemetery.
