Carbon High School senior Jodi Noyes was named as a second-team selection to the 3A Girl’s All-State Basketball squad, it was announced earlier this week.

The 6’0” center/forward led the team in scoring with 12.6 points, eight rebounds and 2.2 blocks per contest. Noyes was honored last season as an honorable mention, but saw an increase in opportunity during her senior campaign.

Junior guard Jordan Bianco also garnered state-wide attention for her consistent play, earning an All-State third-team selection for the second straight year.

Bianco averaged 9.8 points, three rebounds and three assists per game. Proving to be a threat from deep, Bianco scored her season best 26 points in a Region 14 win over Union on Jan. 8.

Both Noyes and Bianco were consistent contributors throughout the season for a Lady Dinos team that finished a perfect 12-0 in region play. Carbon finished the pre and regular season unbeaten in the state of Utah.

The All-State selections are voted on by all coaches in the 3A classification.
