PRICE – Utah State Eastern Baseball snapped their 18-game losing streak on Saturday with a 4-1 win over the College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles in Twin Falls.
Before picking up the win, the Eagles lost three games to CSI by a combined total of four runs.
The Eagles led CSI for a majority of game two and game three of the series but let their leads slip in the final innings of both games.
USU Eastern freshman Dylan Rodriguez led the Eagles with seven hits, three doubles, and three RBIs in the series against CSI.
The Eagles will have a bye this weekend and return to action next week on the road against Colorado Northwestern.
Baseball will return home to take on the nationally-ranked College of Southern Nevada on April 26.
