Price City is requesting proposals and information from artists and photographers who are interested in displaying art that reflects our local area in Price City Hall on our second-floor gallery, at 185 East Main Street, Price, UT 84501.   Exhibitions will be scheduled for one month each beginning in May.  Artists/Photographer may display a minimum of 5 framed pieces and a maximum of 20 pieces.  Several artists may do a joint exhibition with a limit of 20 total pieces.

Works must be framed and ready to hang using a copper wire hanging system that may be viewed by potential artists/photographers by visiting the location in Price City Hall.  Special arrangements may be made for oversized pieces on a case-by-case basis.  Sculpture artists shall provide their own stand to display.  Artists will hang their own pieces with limited assistance from Price City staff.

All work may be available for sale.  It is the responsibility of the artist to manage individual sales.  Price City shall not become involved or liable for works of art displayed or for any sale/purchase transactions. An artist reception may be held each month for the incoming artist(s) and art pieces featured on the Price City Facebook page.

Price City reserves the right to refuse or remove art that may be considered inappropriate, racist, pornographic, or otherwise deemed offensive to community mores and standards.  Preference will be given to art/photographs that showcase Price City and surrounding areas.

Please submit photos/renderings of work proposed to be displaying and your preferred month to exhibit the art to Sherrie Gordon, Price City Recorder at 185 E Main Street, Price, UT 84501, attention Councilmember Terry Willis. Include full contact information.
