The SR-55 West Price Bridge construction team once again received notice that work over the tracks has not been approved by the railroad. Project officials are working as closely as possible with the railroad to expedite the required approval.

As of the initial delay, crews continued to complete tasks in other areas of the bridge, but soon had to stop work until demolition work over the tracks can move forward. Once approval is granted by the railroad, contractors will resume work immediately.

At this time, we remind you the bridge is impassable to vehicles and pedestrians and all access to the structure is strictly prohibited. Safety is always the highest priority on highway projects. Please follow posted detours.
