The Helper American Legion baseball field will play host to the Pacific Southwest Regional Tournament July 22 through July 26.

A total of eight teams will be apart of the true double-elimination tournament, with the winner advancing to National Championship Tournament in Mobile, Ala.

Three out of the eight teams competing come from the state of Utah, including the host team Carbon. Utah’s North squad is represented by Eastside, while Beaver represents the South.

Managed by Pat Smuin the Carbon roster consists of Jared Saccomanno, Wyatt Falk, Camden Wilson, CJ Smuin, Maizen Prichard, Riley Davis, Ridge Nelson, Peyton Molinar, Gage Wareham, Quade Henrie and Skylar Madden. Ryan Falk and Frank Saccomanno serve as assistant coaches.

Games will begin Monday afternoon as Northern California will battle Hawaii at 12:00 p.m.. Games will then continue throughout the day, with Carbon playing the evening’s finale against Central California at 8:00 p.m..
