Castle Country Radio would like to give voters a chance to get to know their candidates through a series of Meet the Candidates assemblies. The Q&A events will be held at Utah State University Eastern’s Jennifer Leavitt Student Center at 400 East 451 North from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm. Voters may sit in on the event if they choose or can listen live on KOAL FM 107.3/AM 750 or access the live stream at www.KOALitv.com, both may be accessed through our website at www.castlecountryradio.com.

The first session on Monday, October 7 features candidates for the three vacant Price City Council seats. Those individuals will include Jared Chiara, Andy Urbanik, Boyd Marsing, Layne Miller, Rick Davis and Terri Tubbs.

The second session will be held on Tuesday, October 8 with East Carbon Mayor and City Council candidates. Those vying for the Mayoral seat are David F. Avery and Barbara J. Robinett. Individuals looking to fill three city council seats are Liz Ferguson, Karla C. Young, Charles Abeyta, Jesse C. Stewart, Bob Martinez and Jason Jorgensen.

The final session on Wednesday, October 9 will feature campaigners for the three Helper City Council seats. Those individuals include Nathan Behn, Amanda Wheeler, Jason L. Riffe, Gary Hardwood, Michele Goldsmith and David Dornan.

Any voters that would like to submit a question to the candidates may do so by emailing election2019@koal.net. As a reminder, not all questions will be presented due to the numbers of candidates and allotted time during each session.
