Verda Carol Price Huntington, age 78, passed away on October 12, 2019 at Utah Valley Hospital, in Provo.

She was born on December 29, 1940 in Clawson, Utah to Victor and Alice Jones Price. Carol married Donald Grant Huntington February, 1968 in Elko, Nevada. They made their home in Orangeville then they later settled in Castle Dale. Carol and Don worked on the family farm in Orangeville raising cattle. They also enjoyed having family gatherings with the Huntington, Larsen and Jensen families.

Carol loved the outdoors and looking for arrowheads on the desert. She loved sewing, cooking, going to the Price family reunions and having Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers with family. She enjoyed going on vacations across the western states, reading books and watching movies with family. Carol loved going on car rides with her kids, this was something that always made her happy. She also liked talking on the phone with her sisters and daughter and reminiscing about the past. Some of her favorite things were butterflies, the color turquoise and collecting porcelain dolls.

Carol lived in Price during her younger days, working and attending college. She was given the nickname “Roadrunner” because she would drag main in her 1953 Ford, honking at everyone she knew.

Seeing her granddaughter always brought her so much joy. Adding to that joy, Carol was recently introduced to a newborn grandson. She was the greatest, most caring mother anyone could ask for. Carol was liked by everyone and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Donald G. Huntington; children, Roger D. Huntington, Richard J. Holmes, Carol Dawn (Devon) Mitchell; five brothers, Don (Janice), Evan (Mary Lou), Clinton (Julie), Eldon (Janet) and Clifford Price; sister, Lydia (Garth) Heiniger.

Preceded in death by her parents, son, Gary Lee Price; sisters, Lylia Price and Vickie Price Hunt; and a brother, John William Price.

Graveside service, Friday, October 18, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at the Orangeville City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Carol online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
