Henderson, NV – The USU Eastern men’s soccer team traveled to Henderson, Nevada on Saturday, October 19th.  An impressive second half display would not be enough for The Eagles victory, falling to CSN 3-1.

During the first half of the game The Eagles were not able to put a ball in goal and allowed the Coyotes to score three.  During the second half of the game The Eagles played a much better game. “In the second half we pulled out of it some and dominated in possessions, dominated in shots, and dominated in every aspect of the game” said head coach Jared Woodhouse.  Unfortunately, we were only able to get back one of the goals, ending the game with a score of 3-1.

The Eagles are now ranked fourth in region and will take on the Salt Lake Bruins for the first round of regional semifinals.  That match-up will be played on November 1st at Salt Lake Community College.
