The Price United Methodist Church is hosting their annual Roast Beef Dinner on Saturday, November 2 at 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the church located at 10 North 200 East in Price.

“The Roast Beef Dinner has been a mainstream for fundraising for the church, our principal actually fundraiser. We have other activities. We sponsor a Children’ Clothing Closet and we have a Garage Sale that we also use and a portion of all of the proceeds goes towards local charities,” said John McCrady. There will also be an opportunity drawing held during the event for $2.00 per ticket for a chance at one-half a pig or full lamb to help fill the freezer for the winter.

The annual dinner is filled with loads of food for guests to enjoy. “There’s a salad, rolls, green beans, vegetable, mashed potatoes, gravy and of course the roast beef and dessert. Generally, we have ice cream and cake for dessert and that’s included, all of which is included in the ticket price,” stated McCrady. The cost for the event is $15.00 per person, $8.00 for children 12 years and under. Take-out is available for guests who are unable to stay for dinner.
