A presentation on November 7 will be made by Zac Whitwell of the Utah Division of Workforce Services at the Business Expansion and Retention general board meeting.

Whitwell works as an Assistant Director in the Workforce Development Division.  He is also the Service Area Director over the seven counties in eastern Utah. He has been with Workforce Services since 2011.  In addition to his public employee service, he also has over 15 years’ experience in the private sector with an emphasis in manufacturing, communications, and social services industries.

Whitwell grew up in Clemson, South Carolina, and moved to Utah in 2005 after graduating cum laude from Bob Jones University (Greenville, SC) with a Bachelors of Science.  Zac enjoys all things outdoors, reading, and
spending time with his wonderful wife and young family.  He and his family currently reside in Helper.

BEAR’s mission is to inform, grow and improve business in the Castle Country area.

The meeting will start at 8 a.m. and light refreshments will be served. Each general meeting never lasts more than one hour.

BEAR meetings are held at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center in the Alumni Room on the USU Eastern Campus in Price.
