Cheryl Marie Harris Stevenson, age 60, passed away peacefully at her home on December 2, 2019.

She was born February 12, 1959 in Provo, Utah to Keith D. and Ida Mae Rote Harris. Cheryl married her high school sweetheart, Dennis C. Stevenson, in Provo on August 8, 1980. Together they raised two wonderful children, Darick and Jeana.

Cheryl grew up in Provo, attending Provo High School where she met Dennis and quickly fell in love. The two spent as much time as they could fishing and camping in Utah’s backcountry as time went on. Cheryl enjoyed painting, arts and crafts, and making things with her hands. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Army Spc. Darick M. Stevenson, Jeana M. and Stephan Burgess; brothers, Kenneth Harris, David Harris; sister, Rochelle Nilson-Huntley; sister-in-law, Karen Stevenson Warburton; grandson, Frederick C. Burgess.

Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel Harris; mother-in-law, Pearl Stevenson; father-in-law, Daniel E. Stevenson.

Per the family’s request, a private service will take place.
