Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Dorothy Matekovic Diamanti, age 96, passed away peacefully December 2, 2019 at Parkdale Care Center in Price.

She was born November 14, 1923 in Spring Glen, Utah to Martin and Mary Vuksinick Matekovic.

Married Steve J. Diamanti on April 3, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1986.

Dottie loved to bowl and play cards and was an avid reader. She owned and operated a western clothing store in Flagstaff, Arizona with her beloved husband Steve. Dottie was very proud of her heritage and upbringing being surrounded by many brothers and sisters. Dottie returned to Utah in August of 2014 to be closer to family and friends.

Survived by her step children, Steven S. (Connie) Diamanti, Spokane, Washington, Jon S. Diamanti, Chino Valley, Arizona, Greg S. (Dixie) Diamanti, Santa Maria, California, Harry S. (Marsha) Diamanti, Eden, Utah, Renai D. (Bill) Campbell, Wellington, Utah; sisters, Charlene Milovich, Spring Glen, Utah, Barbara Anderson, Reno, Nevada; many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends, Rosie, Joan, Cindy and Carolyn; cousin, Rudy.

Preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers and 10 sisters.

Graveside service, Friday, December 6, 2019, 2:00 p.m., Mt. View Cemetery in Helper. The family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home on Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
