The weather may be cold outside but that doesn’t mean you can’t still have fun under the bubble at the Price City Desert Wave Pool.
“Birthday parties are really popular this time of year at the pool because like I said it is somewhere warm that you can have entertainment. You don’t have to worry about trying to entertain those kids with something to do. So we have different options for birthday parties, we can accommodate pretty much any birthday party,” said Aquatic Director, Tamra Gray. Birthday parties can also rent the indoor obstacle course called the Wibit for only $150.00 for up to 2 hours of fun.
There is the option of do-it-yourself birthday party that runs with a group rate of $13.25 to cover 5 people, additional people are $2.75 each. The other option is reserved parties for $40.00 with an admission of 10 people includes ice cream cups, small drink and a reserved table with balloons, additional people are $3.50 each.
Also taking place will be new sessions of swimming lessons beginning in January. “So we do offer swimming lessons year round. We take a little break here in December but we will start them again on January 6 – we call them our winter/spring sessions so they’ll run every four weeks up to the first week in May,” said Gray. Swim lessons are open to all skill levels and cost $35.00 per session.
The sessions will run as follows:
Session 1 January 6 – January 30
Session 2 February 3 – February 27
Session 3 March 2 – March 26
Session 4 April 13 – May 7
