Arthur Sandoval, 84, passed away February 21, 2020 at home after a short illness. He was born on October 17, 1935 to Anita and Charlie Sandoval in South Fork, Colorado. He grew up in Southwestern Colorado, and East Carbon, UT. He graduated from Carbon High school in 1954. Right after graduation, Arthur joined the US Air Force on June 24. Arthur loved the military, and made a career of it. He travelled all over the world, and served in Vietnam. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal of Honor for his exemplary military service in February 1971. After retiring from the Air Force in 1974, Arthur returned home to Price, UT. He worked for National Mine Service, and later retired from Coca Cola. Arthur loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling and backyard barbecuing. He was an avid card player, who loved music, gambling, dancing and the Denver Broncos.   He was a very generous and loving person, who always helped a friend in need. He loved entertaining and a houseful of friends, family and neighbors. He loved his pets and was often seen taking them for rides. He also loved his yearly gardens, and shared everything he grew.

Preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Ray, Alfonso and Virgil, his sister Esther Franco, and grandson, Brandon Lambert. Arthur is survived by his wife of 36 years, Ann Sandoval, his daughter Jacqueline (Terry) Henson, grandson Blake (Bre) Lambert, and two great grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings, Lucy Walker, Jose F. Sandoval, Grace Duenas and Marcy (Dick) Hickman, and many, many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Arthur was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed.

Funeral service, Thursday, February 27, 2020, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
